This policy explains what information Hapi Mail collects, why, and the choices you have. Hapi Mail is owned by Memphite Heliopolis and operated by BTO Technology Solutions ("we").
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email, organization and login details.
- Your contact lists: the addresses and details you upload, which you control. We act on your behalf when handling them.
- Sending data: delivery, bounce, complaint, open, click and unsubscribe events for emails you send.
- Billing information: handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Website visits: basic server logs. We do not use advertising trackers on this site.
How we use it
- To provide and secure the service and deliver your emails.
- To keep lists clean by honoring unsubscribes, bounces and complaints.
- To answer your questions and send account notices.
- To meet legal duties.
What we never do
We never sell your information or your contacts' information, and we never email your contacts for our own purposes.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run Hapi Mail, including Amazon Web Services for email delivery and our hosting provider. They may only use the information to provide services to us.
Writing assistant
When you use the writing assistant, the text you provide is sent to an AI provider to generate suggestions. It is not used to email anyone and you decide what to keep.
How long we keep information
We keep account data while your account is open. Sending history is kept for up to 24 months. When you close your account, we delete your lists within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep records.
Your choices
You can view, export, correct or delete your data from your account, or ask us at support@gethapimail.com. If you received an email sent through Hapi Mail, use its unsubscribe link or contact the sender.
Children
Hapi Mail is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We'll post any changes here and tell account holders about important ones.
